Getting Around Eureka Springs: The Trolley
Exploring Eureka Springs is part of the adventure—and there’s no easier (or more fun) way to do it than hopping aboard the city’s iconic trolley system.
The Eureka Springs Transit Trolley makes it simple to experience everything from the Historic Downtown to scenic overlooks, attractions, and lodging throughout the city. With multiple color-coded routes and over 100 stops, you can park your car and let the trolley take you wherever you want to go.
Why Ride the Trolley?
Eureka Springs is known for its winding mountain streets, limited parking, and walkable historic district. The trolley offers a stress-free way to explore:
- Easy access to downtown shopping, dining, and attractions
- Convenient stops near hotels, cabins, and campgrounds
- Park & Ride options to avoid downtown parking
- A relaxing way to enjoy the scenery without driving
Simply park once and ride all day.
Routes & Coverage
The trolley system operates on four main routes, each covering a different part of town:
- Red Route – Historic Downtown loop
- Blue Route – East side of town, including Passion Play area
- Yellow Route – North Main and Magnetic Road loop
- Purple Route – West side, including scenic destinations
Together, these routes connect visitors to nearly every major attraction, neighborhood, and lodging area in Eureka Springs.

Trolley service runs year-round with extended hours during peak travel seasons:
- Winter (Jan–Feb & Dec): Limited service, typically Wed–Sat
- Spring & Fall: Expanded weekday and weekend hours
- Summer (May–Oct): Daily service with longer evening hours
During the busiest months, trolleys run continuously throughout the day, making it easy to hop on and off as you explore.
