  • Located near the growing thoroughfares of highways 62, 23 and 412, and an hour away from Interstate 49, Eureka Springs and Carroll County are located centrally to several airports. One of the world's largest trucking firms is located about 40 miles away. Construction costs and lease space rates are very reasonable in the area.

    Eureka Springs is also located within an hour of several post-secondary institutions including the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Northwest Arkansas Community College and a campus for Phoenix University. John Brown University is about 90 minutes from Eureka Springs.

    Nationally acclaimed health care facilities are located within an hour of Eureka Springs and some of the nation's largest employers including Walmart and Dillard's are headquartered nearby.

    Eureka Springs is also fortunate to have its own trolley system. Serving the city and visitors as public transportation, the Eureka Springs Trolley is the best way for visitors to get around and enjoy the city at a very cost efficient cost. The trolley features nearly 150 scheduled pick-up spots and is accessible from most of the shopping, dining, and lodging establishments all around town.

    There are many opportunities for land acquisition suitable for commercial development. Land prices remain reasonable inside and outside city limits. Commercial development is easily facilitated in Carroll County as there is no zoning in the county outside of city limits. 

    In addition to the vintage and historical housing stock In Eureka Springs, there are a number of new housing development opportunities west and east of the city, as well as at Holiday Island, a resort community located about five miles north of Eureka Springs. The Beaver Lake area has a number of housing developments located on major fingers of the lake on the Eureka Springs side.
