About Richard: Richard has always been entrepreneurial starting early with paper routes, creating and running snow shoveling and grass cutting crews, selling greeting cards, magazine subscriptions, car waxing, bicycle repair, etc.
He started his first full time business at the age of 22 and has been in the “Main Street” small business arena as Business Owner, Seller, Consultant and Business Broker ever since. You will find he can easily relate to you and your business due to his 45 plus years in the small business arenas. He has the ability to quickly grasp and analyze business models and conditions and is personally involved in every project and listing at AEGIS.
He has been an avid volunteer serving as an SBA/SCORE Certified Mentor, Co-Mentor for special cases for the Arkansas Small Business Technology Development Center (SBTDC) and volunteer mentor for BNI Members. He also serves on Northwest Arkansas Chambers of Commerce on various committees and volunteered as a court ordered Mediator for small claims courts specializing in small business disputes.
Richard has extensive Business Brokerage training & experience from two national Business Broker franchises that he worked for. He continues to receive ongoing training from the ABBA American Business Brokers Association where he received an ABI Accredited Business Intermediary rating and the IBBA International Business Brokers where he is an active member.
He has built a large network of Business Brokers, Commercial Lenders, SBA Lenders, Business Buyers and Business Sellers and Business Professionals over the years.
Richard's home town is Chicago which he left in 2010 to move to Fayetteville Arkansas. His mother was born in Biscoe, Arkansas and he has family scattered throughout Pope County, Branson and Dallas.
You are welcome to come and attend the whole morning session or, if you have to get to work, come for the coffee and updates from the city.
