Description
The Inspiration Point Rural Fire Protection District serves western Carroll County, Arkansas, covering approximately 25 square miles and a resident population of about 1,000. Established in 2004, the district provides rural fire protection, hazardous materials response, rescue services, and emergency medical assistance through its First Responder program. The department is 100% volunteer-based, with 12 active members donating their time and service. The Auxiliary was formed in 2015 to further support the department’s mission.
This milestone marks the completion of a thoughtfully designed expansion that includes two new apparatus bays, a community and training center, and an updated kitchen. These improvements were made possible through the generous donations and support of the community.
The new addition enhances the department’s ability to train effectively, properly house essential equipment, and provide a welcoming space for community meetings and events—while strengthening the district’s capacity to serve and protect the area.
Community members are invited to attend, tour the new facilities, meet the volunteer firefighters, and help celebrate this important step forward for both the department and the community.
