About Us
Historic Lake Leatherwood was created during the WPA era by the CCC. The 80 foot tall limestone faced dam is the hallmark CCC remnant along with many other stone features still in service. The 1610 acre park provides many recreational opportunities such as cabins, camping and RV sites, boating, fishing, boat dock/marina, and over 25 miles of hiking and biking trails. Additionally, the Sports Field facility boasts full size baseball and soccer fields and doubles as a festival site for many annual events. Whether you need to get away a few hours or days, Lake Leatherwood is waiting for you!
