BEAT ROOT REVIVAL is a multi-instrumentalist roots duo, combining elements of Folk, Blues, Country, and Rock n Roll to create a melodic sound — built on the powerhouse harmonies of Andrea Magee and Ben Jones.

Originally from Ireland and England, Andrea and Ben came to the USA to share their music far and wide. With just a guitar, a Bodhrán, and a hunger in their harmonies and songs, Austin, Texas became their adopted home. Since then, they’ve built an ever-growing fan base across the U.S. and beyond — from intimate listening rooms to a three-year run as the opening act for Brian Wilson on his world tour, as well as opening for Jeff Bridges and The Fixx — while writing and recording prolifically. Signed to Surfdog Records, the duo’s catalog includes work with legendary producer Paul Leary (Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Meat Puppets, Butthole Surfers), featuring their rendition of Thunderclap Newman’s Something In The Air.
